Burnt grass - yellow - is there any hope?

Hi,

Had some glass doors fitted recently and while they were fitting frames they put the doors flat on the grass.

It was a very hot day and on lifting the doors, the grass has yellowed and doesn't look happy!

Obviously we've watered and there are one or two signs of green leaves poking through. However, can we help it further? Fertilizer or something?

Any specific recommendations?

No fertiliser, just a good soaking..It will bounce back.

Good point. Didn't think that. It's not a wide garden however - it would be a short run up.
