hello and thanks to all that answer,
if i want to make a neat job of bonding a shower circuit to the pipe work by burying cable how do you 'exit' the wall. do you use a flex entry type plate or do you just plaster around the cable?

Where are you refering to?

If you are bonding to the radiator then exit behind the rad and use a rad clamp attached to the bottom of the rad.

If to the H&C pipes then come up behind the pedestal or under the bath.

If it is the cold pipe at the shower, then bond the pipe inside the shower unit.

I don't see a problem with just plastering round the cable (min CSA of 4.0mm² unless mechanically protected)
