Hi guys i have another question for you

I have what apears to be some type of bypass valve fitted staight after my pump that feeds back to the return to the boiler . It has a knob on the end and can be adjusted .
please can you tell me what this does and what ideal position it should be in or if it even needs to be there i have heard it could be using up more gas by having it

Cheers

Darren

Which boiler do you have (make and exact model)?

How many motorized valves do you have?

Make and model of pump - if not inside the boiler?

A bypass valve is provided to ensure that the flow through the boiler meets the minimum specified by the boiler manufacturer.
