is it possible to change the cam belts and tensioners at home ,or does it require specialist tools.

Pends who you talk to ........ The dealer will say Woooooo Need magic tools, everyone else uses Torx bits.
Ensure the tensioning mechanism is in good condition when you change the belt..... Sometimes its wise to change that as a matter of course.... But at teh very least it must be cleaned up & lubed.
Careful as you go, mistakes are expensive when doing this job, if you are new to changing belts, it may be a prudent move on your part to turn the engine over by hand before attempting to start it ..... (Take plugs out, put it in gear a push it GENTLY) If its Auto ya'll have to jack up the driving wheels & turn the motor wiv a spanner/socket .... Your teeth what ever really
