Bit of an open ended question I'm sure, but scenario is this. Single skin brick garage with concrete floor, approx 100mm thick (as I've drilled a hole through it). Is the floor independent from the wall, i.e could the wall sink/raise and the slab stay still or are they integrally linked?

Linked only by membrane and friction. Otherwise they are separate items unless the walls are built off the slab as opposed to trench foundations.
