Hi
I have a 50w single oven, 4 hobs, it is only small, 50 cm wide.
To be fair, i don't even cook much, so will this fit into a standard plug socket or do i have to pay an extra £200 to get a 30A socket installed?

Thanks

oh FFS...

50w isn't even enough to warm up a cup of tea...

what is the proper wattage of it?

it will be in the KW range..

is it even electric?

Ah, good point, not sure where i got 50w from.

The back page of the manual says Max. Oven Power Consumption 1950 w

As it's an electric hob, you still have a problem.

Typical electric hotplates are between 1 and 2 KW each, so with four hotplates and the oven, that could be about a 6 to 8 KW total load. That's around 30 Amps, far too much for a 13 Amp plug to cope with!

50w = 50 Wide, as in the size of the appliance?

Whether you cook much or not, you need a new circuit installing for it. That could cost £200, or it could just as easily be less or more.

1) Why do appliance manufacturers make it so hard to find out a simple, but unbelievably important fact about their products?

2) baxxy - do you not have gas available?
