We have a 2.5m x 2.5m area of concrete in the corner of the garden (base for a deceased wendy house). It's in good condition, and I have no idea how thick it is thus breaking it up would be far too big a hassle.

Can I turn it into a less unslightly patio area by paving over it with say 450mm concrete pavers? How do I bond A to B?

yes you can. Sweep the base off and give it a good wash down. I normally use a slightly wetter mix, as you only need a thin bed. Try taking them up after 10 minutes and youll see how well they have stuck. You can prime the surface with a neat cement slurry as well.
