Hi,

I am planning to clad my house and I was wondering if this has been done before and what the pros and cons would be? I assume they would need to be treated every few years.

Why do you want to? New boards would cost a fortune. Used boards will be bashed and covered in paint/cement/etc

Also it will be a HUGE amount of weight. :!:

theres no interlocking off boards or surfaces tapered to shed water
and your stuck to 10 and 13ft boards
what look or effect are you after ??

It's basically wood, so yea.

They would need treating as would any non durable pine (which is what most scaffold boards are made from).

Can't understand why you would do it though, unless you have a free supply of scaffold boards.
