3 flashes on a Candy washer usually points to a drain issue; Clogged filter, blocked/defective pump, or a kinked/blocked drain hose. Your user manual should include instructions on how to check the filter. Post the full model details if you require further information.

The problem with the Candy flashing light problem (90mins and stain/vanish) is usually due to a blocked filter. If not then it is due to the water lever pressure switch tube being bocked by, usually, soap.
This tube takes the pressure from the build up of water in the drum to operate a switch. Older machines have a soap trap fitted which is easy to clean. With the Candy you need to undo the top of the tube and blow through it to clear it. A combination of water and blowing hard will eventually clear it. Otherwise remove the bottom panel and access the other end of the tube to clear it properly.

It might help othe people with the same problem though! This something the manufacturs never tell you about and it is a very common problem.
