Hi I need to reconnect the old cast iron soil/waste pipe which is underground to a new plastic soil pipe all I've seen is the rubber pipes with large style jubilee clips is there a right way to do this and whats the part called ,cheers

There are C.I. (cast iron) to plastic 'fernco' jubilee clip style connectors available and are easy enough to fit.
