Central Heating only comes on when hot water is on.

Hello,

My boiler is only heating the radiators when the hot water is heating up. If the hot water is turned off or has reached temperature the heating will not come on and I have to run some hot water to get it to come on again.

I have a Baxi boiler and a potterton controller.

I recently had to have a new curcuit board put in the boiler but the engineer said this is not the cause of the problem.

Can anyone give me some advice.

Pity he did not tell you what the problem actually is!
