Central vacuum systems

Has anyone here installed a central vacuum system (either end user or builder)?

If so, can you please provide some tips on selecting the best system i.e. manufacturer, ideas on costs and companies to buy it from?

I was thinking about one of the top of the range Electrolux versions. Any negative experiences of having it?

I'm thinking to get a Sachs system from bpcventilation, seems the right kind of money, considering a dyson upright is around half the price and the missus hates dust and I tire of getting a face full of dog hair every week when emptying the vac.
Do watch a video on how to install it.. Little stuff like " only put glue on the outside of a pipe involved in a join" are the small but vital tips for trouble free operation
