I have a leaking bathroom tap and I'm trying to find a replacement. The one that leaks has a yellow plastic adaptor over the splines. Do this come with the valve or was it part of the tap top so I should prise it off and re-use it?
Also whats a good place to get a replacement as there seems to be loads of variants and a very widevrange of prices?

Any and all advice and information will ge most gratefully received.

Is one of the better suppliers, and good luck with your search. In particular, count the splines and measure all dimensions accurately.

I'd keep all the bits just in case and when working in a sink put the plug in just in case you drop anything it won't go down the waste.Bob.
