Hi ppl im going to be laying a circle patio of about 2.56m in the middle of the garden have already removed the turf and will be putting shingle down once patio is down, now is there any need for a sub base as will only be light traffic? and to lay it will it be best to lay on a bed of wet cement?

you can get away without a sub-base if its firm stable ground. Definetly a wet mortar bed

also I forgot to mention im putting outdoor led's in each outer piece and the centre, I guess the only way to do it is as I lay each piece and the wires under the cement will that be right?

yes
