Clean old, dirty exterior silicone seal from patio doors

Hi guys,

My patio doors in Spain had dirty old silicone seals. I bought a small bottle of silicon cleaner out there which worked and cleaned the silicon without removing it.

Is there anything in the UK that would do a similar job. All the products I can see here seem to be silicon removers not just cleaners.

If you want to remove it, I think that there are tools available. As for cleaning it, use that stuff you used in spain if it's good. Otherwise, sugar soap is a good cleaner for most heavy cleaning. Might be worth giving that a go.

If the silicone is going mouldy you will need to remove it and reseal the doors.
