Hi, I recently installed a new bathroom suite, the waste for the basin is a clicker, but it does not close properly, also when it is in open position the water flow is very slow and I can see that there is hair trapped in it.

Is it possible to adjust the clicker waste?

Is it possible to dismantle it so that it can be cleaned?

Many thanks in anticipation of replies.

clic clac wastes normally unscrew, turn the "plug" anti clockwise and it should come undone.

Thanks, I have tried that and it doesn't seem to do anything other than turn.

Then try pulling it straight out, try not to break it ;)

quick edit, make sure your turning the plastic underneath the chrome plug when you try to unscrew it.
