Hi all.

I have a Rayburn with boiler attached that heats 4 radiators upstairs and a towel rail. All is good apart from the final radiator. The bottom of it is nice and toasty hot but the top isn't getting warm at all.
Obviously my first thought is to bleed it but this doesn't help. Any idea what else I can do.

Thanks in advance

Andy

No nothing comes out. I turned the screw a quarter/half turn with no joy. I even undid it further but still nothing at all (air or water)

good advice - if it still doesn`t want to release air - I`ll come round with a pin and poke the hole where the bleed screw came out  but it`ll cost you ;)

Before poking with a pin note the positions and turn the valves off.

Dont lose the bleed screw!

Hey guys. Sorry for the delay.
I tried bleeding it with the Rayburn on and also when it is all cold.
Still got this top maybe 1/3 of the radiator not getting hot.
When I open the bleed valve no air is coming out.

How do I do the pin pokey thing without breaking everything?

Thanks!

turn both valves off
remove the bleed screw with a cloth underneath so you dont lose it

get a pin and poke it in the hole where the bleed screw was ans dislodge the carp
replace said screw open valves bleed rad as normal :!:

Thanks. What/where are the valves that I need to turn off?
what is the "carp" that I need to dislodge?
Then I put the same bleed screw back in as it was?

Thanks

Andy
