Combi boiler - hot then cold bath water

I've just moved house and have a combi boiler for the first time. I've noticed when I run a bath that the water runs cold then hot then cold, there's no consistency at all. Is there anything I can do to sort this, instructions weren't left by the past owners for the boiler. Thanks.

Problem is probably sludge - do a search on that.

Sorry for the delay, its an Ariston microgenus.

I've also noticed in the last couple of days that the timer is running behind time, over a period of about 12 hours it runs about an hour slow.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated!

Was a solution ever found to this as my ariston is doing the same thing

The solution is always the same! Clean the plate HE if there is one or check the temperature sensors if not or as well.

Replace the timeclock if it runs slow.
