Combi Boiler

I have a Baxi combi which isn't giving hot water to the taps or radiators. When the heating is supposed to come on, the boiler seems to kick into action but never heats the radiators. Similarly, when the hot water taps are turned on, the boiler makes the normal sounds but the water never gets hot.

Any ideas?

Also, can anyone recommend a plumber in central/north london, going through yellow pages and getting corgi reg plumbers has not been good to me in the past.

What model combi do you have? If its condensing check the condensate trap. Also check pressure gauge reads positive, 1bar. If these ok then check pump is rotating. Can you hear fan run and ignition sparking? Is there power to boiler. Am i just waffling on and on. God is that the time?
