I recently recorded some music in a recording studio and I now have my work on a CD. I converted the 2 songs to MP3 files eah of which has a size of 34 MB.
When I try to upload these files onto MySpace I get a message telling me that the files are too big. Is there anything I can do to compress them?

how long are the MP3s? 34meg for 2 tracks is quite alot.

use audacity to reduce the bitrate as suggested, the lame encoder is pretty good for this, you usually end up with variable bitrate average around 192 which is more than adequate for myspace.

if you have any problems PM me, I will give you my e-mail and I can play around with them I have some better software in my studio for this.
