I need to cast a fairly large chunk of concrete this weekend, (13'X6'X6")

Everything is ready as far as being dug out, hardcore in and shuttered etc....

My question is regarding the frost, weather forecast looks ok, and i was going to cover it over with some hessian (as the brickies do), any other recommendations or advice from the Pro's as to keeping the frost out, or should that be fine?

scaffold boards then the hessian. ;)

we built a staffy blue brick chimney in a blizzard once, then wrapped it in hessian. snug as a bug.

well hopefully i won't end up in a blizzard!

i take it are you saying to cover with a couple of scaff boards, just enough to drape the hessian over.....
