Hi All,

I have a Internal Vertical cast iron soil stack in the Bathroom. Close to the floor are 2 "boss's". Connected into them are a copper sink waste and copper bath waste, both via large compression type fittings (all part of the cast iron pipe).

I am renewing the Bathroom and want to replace the waste pipework for new as it is going to be on show.

what will i find if i unscrew the connectors?? Can i connect modern plastic waste pipe to these boss's?? Should it all be left alone in case of major problems??

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Matt
