Wood-engineered floors can be installed in conservatories. Solid wood floorboards is not recommended in this area (5-finger mosaic or herringbone blocks can be done).

Like has been said, engineered wood will be fine, however we always discuss with our customers the affect that direct sunlight and heat can have on all types of flooring, natural flooring like wood of course will be affected by fading and colour change in any area but this will likely be exaggerated in the environment of a conservatory. We find if our customer is aware of what to expect from a floor covering the fewer issues/complaints we have.

Nothing worse than a customer coming back and saying they did'nt expect the floor to change colour dramatically 6 months after install etc.
