Hi

I have recently moved house and am in the process of installing an extraction cooker hood. I am comfortable installing the hood but will need to get someone in to drill the hole in the, very thick, outside wall for the vent.

My question is, what type of professional would be best placed to do this? Would this be the sort of job a plumber could do, given that it presumably follows the same principles as the holes needed for waste pipes etc, or is it a more specialist skill? Also, approximately how much would this sort of job cost?

Apologies if this sounds naive but until now I have been able to do all my DIY needs myself.

thanks
