Can anyone advise if I can or can't duct a cooker hood through an air brick, the air vent is less than a metre from where the hood will be situated, seems a shame to bore another hole when this one is so close, regarding air into the kitchen... I also have an extractor fan on the wall on the other side of the kitchen, if this was removed & became a new air vent, would this sound viable?
