I live in the top floor of a four-floor storey building. The flat will be completely refurbished and I am trying to decide on options.

At the moment there is no gas supply to the flat. Do you have idea on costs for
bringing gas to the flat (scaffolding, meter, etc)
a new boiler
4 radiators
installation costs for boiler
installation of 4 radiators

British Gas has an offer that consists of £400 discount for new boilers. I do not knot if the discount is insignificant against all other costs.

It's impossible to give you a figure with that description on here. You will need a survey doing and then quoting, get as many as possible.

From the limited info, I would guess.

New gas supply via NG about £10-12,000
4 rads £800+ £100 for lugging them up each of the floors £2,400
Boiler ball park £2,000
Odds and ends +electrics Etc Etc £1,000 Total Guess about ££17,500

A new gas connection to the National Grid can be crazy money, you might want to get every one in the block to split the cost

Edit: because if you don't, everyone will piggyback your connection at about 95% less cost to them, than it was to you.
