Hey everyone,
The walls in our hall are sound and in most cases the paintwork is decent, however, in some areas the paint has lifted/cracked a bit - see the attached picture.
Based on the fact that this is in a few areas rather than widespread I don't want to hang lining paper or something like that - it would be a very time consuming and tricky process with some long drops, stairs etc.
Am I best to sand this with say 120 grade (or finer, I have it) paper to remove the lose stuff, then add some filler? Filler wise for something like this, which will be on show, which stuff would you guys recommend?
I used some one strike stuff before, it seemed okay but a bit 'foamy' vs conventional powder polyfiller.
I'll be repainting the entire hall and landing, probably white, certainly matt.
Thanks in advance.
