creating undergeound stop cock

Hi i am after someadvice please. I had my outside tap to a detach garage burst (resulting in 300m3 of escaped water!) so i am considering putting an underground stop cock to isolate the whole garage. It is 20mm mdpe i laid myself (inspected to correct depth etc...) just after advice reagarding the best way to create an inspection hatch / best mpde valve to use

Can;t you fit an isolater at the head of the supply?

Lot easier than putting a stoptap in the ground!

hi i have (20mm mdpe to 15mm copper stop cock) still popped at copper to copper connection . Being over protective so will change copper to plastic valve PLUS add an underground valve as the garage is 50m away. 4 days leak = £800 water bill!
