Cromapol on exposed Chipboard/ to cover with EPDM?

A patch of felt (around 60cm by 60cm) had deteriorated on my flat roof, and I had covered this with cromapol.

Money is tight and I was wondering whether I can place a patch of epdm 1m2 area over this patch as Im worried that the cromapol may not be enough to prevent water and dampness into the chipboard?

If it is alright to place epdm directly over, other than the adhesive to paste on the epdm, should I place flashing over the edges?

If its a felt roof, repair it with torch on felt.

It won't glue properly, just use more cromapol or do what he said and use felt

Could I use a self adhesive felt as opposed to torch on, due to lack off torch?

Would the self adhesive stick onto the cromapol covering?
