Greetings all,

one of the screws in a kitchen cupboard 'door' hinge had worked itself out a few weeks ago, basically the hole had enlarged itself over the years so it wouldn't go back in and stay in.

Now, the weight of the cupboard door on one screw at the top has pulled it out.

My thoughts were a) find another longer hinge for the top and make two new holes

and, er, that's about it.

What do you guys recommend?

Thanks,
(top screw came out first)
this is the offending hinge if it helps at all..

Is there a cupboard next to the one shown? I'm thinking you could drill through the existing holes then secure hinge with two machine screws and nuts going through both cupboards.

Alas it's the end of the cupboard
