Curved Radiator source

Where does one buy curved radiators at sensible ( non designer ) prices.

Need to replace this set of three rads in my daughter's new home with a single curved radiator.

Not keen on a standard radiator that is machine curved ( i.e bent ) to fit the bay as these often end up with random crinkles on the side facing the room.

Yes I am. I have found many companies that will bend a standard radiator to fit but have also seen the crinkled result in several bay windows.

All curved radiators are machine curved from what I've come across. Some are just better than others. The price is ridiculous by the way.

you can also have them cut and welded to shape. If you have the panels sized to match the windows above, and painted in matt or satin to match the walls, it will not look bad, and a hundred times better than you have now.

I have to say that curved radiators are out of fashion now and the bodges by curving flat rads are horrific. Ripples and the removal of any guaranty on the rad.

In my view those in the picture would be pretty acceptable if only the pipes were painted whitish to match bay.

But with nice double glazed plastic windows, the heat loss is so low that there is no compelling reason to put rads under windows any more.

Most new builds don't and usually put them just inside the door to keep the pipework from the corridor short. Looks wrong to me but technically it works fine.

Would sort out the linking pipe work losing the elbows and then painting. Curved rads look atrocious.

Just painting to match the wall will visually remove them from noticeability.

My spell checker does not even baulk at the word!

To me curved rads look so 70s !

Used Shiva radiators in the past.

Not keen on the concept though.
