Hi I am looking for advice about how best to repair a damaged stretch of old slate DPC.
The house was built back in the early 50s, and has a utility on the side. It looks like the original floor level was changed (raised), but I don't think this is the cause of the damp in the kitchen. Having removed some of the wood cladding on the wall in the utility I found that the bottom batten had been screwed into the same line of mortar as the DPC and damaging it.
How can I fix it, are there any product out there I can use or is it a job for the pros?
Thanks for your advice.
