damp problem

thanks woody, have taken off render all along wall up to 18 in, only the bottom row of bricks seem to get wet but new unpainted skirting never seems wet,walls above 18 in always dry, would freezetec or dryzone and waterproof additive to rendering solve this problem

You need a mod to merge these threads

If render is the problem, then additives are not much use as the render itself keeps the damp out
