Hi all,

Having a few issues with my cellar and could do with some advice.

I have a small (8 by 6 ft) cellar in my property (approx 130 yrs old).
The cellar was originally a brick construction with an arched ceiling.
The brickwork work was damp with some water on the walls but a dry floor.

On advice, I've had the walls, floor and ceiling cement rendered (2 coats).

Then I have applied 3 coats of Sika Top 107 in the correct manner.

However, there is still water coming through the walls!!!
It's better but still not suitable.

I only want to use this room for storage so don't want to spend a lot putting in a membrane lining with sump pump etc.

So, are there any other damp proofing options?
Read a lot about synthproof or other bitumen based paints but not sure if these will work...

Any advice/experience would be greatly appreciated

Tom
