The front edge of the shower tray in our en-suite is against the door frame and over time there has been a small leak of water from the shower onto the frame which has started to rot. I therefore need to dig out the rot and replace. I know the best way to do this would be to cut the frame just above the rot and replace with a new length of frame but I don't think (well, I know!) that my carpentry skills would not stretch to this! Therefore I am going to fill the hole with filler. The question is, which one?

It really needs to be white as it will need to match in with the rest of the frame although it will be painted. As there is a good chance that the frame will get wet again (although I will be replacing the silicon around the shower to reduce this possibility) should I go for an exterior filler?

Thanks all.
