Air brick do you install above or below the damp course.
I have found a small damp patch in one corner of the room wall. Now its starting to have black patches.informed its your air brick blocked? No damage to the out side wall or downpipe. Bit lost on this one.

DPC should be 6" above ground level, install the air brick above DPC but internally it has to be under the suspended floor.
 
Your post is a bit garbled

It depends what you want to vent.

It appears you want to ventilate the room, so the ventilation hole in the wall goes through to the room.

But you need to do some more research first, as there may be other causes and remedies, and you might not need a hole in the wall letting cold air in

In addition, if you end up fitting an air brick then they go 1.8m up from the floor and not where the mould is in the corner by the floor
