Decking spacings

Hi all,

I am thinking of laying some decking and my question is how far apart should I space my joists?
I will be using 6" x 2" joists.
Also how is the frame attached to the 100x100 posts which I will be concreteing into the ground? Should they resting on top for strength or screwed through the joists into the posts?

400 centres. we always screw the joists to the posts, that way you can put the posts in extra long and level up teh frame on it, then cut the tops of flush.
