Denture Tablets

Found a great use for these.

Burnt food onto a pan? Catastrophically caked on?

Just put boiling water to cover the affected area and add a denture tablet (or two if the volume of water is great) and in no time the pan or dish will sparkle again.

No kidding: it's a wonder cure!

In fact, as a Yorkshireman, you will know full well the expression "When it's brown it's done, when it's black it's b***ered." As an honorary Yorkie, that's one of the first rules I learnt ont' wrong (right) side ot' Pennines.

Your beloved first wife always applies heat until the brownness shows, it's just that the food is very sticky...

I must confess I do take it out sometimes to eat...
