Hi,
I am planning on putting an 8'10' shed in the garden.
Problem is that the estate I live in is built on a hill - next door's garden is slightly higher than mine. To smooth the height difference, the developer put a tapering grass bank in. I want to dig this out to put the shed against the boundary on that side. (See picture)

What do I need to do to ensure that the land is stable and doesnt start to slip down?

Thanks for your help

Not sure that I have the skills to make a retaining wall!

By sleepers do you just mean pile up a load of wood to act as a barrier to the soil slipping?

why not put the shed on a small deck, that way you avoid the digging out

Whats the height diff across the area you wish to put the shed on? Looks about 2 concrete blocks worth from the pic. Not a great deal.
