Hi,
We have this Dimplex OFC2009TI but on turning the power dial on the right one day, it broke clean off. It had three settings for power and now it can't be used obviously.
We can't see any way to fit a new dial, even if we could get a spare as don't see how you would open the unit. The dial has sheared off a metal bolt that it is attached by.
Would you say this needs to go to the council recycling tip? Or do you think a repair shop might be able to fix it economically? Seems a shame to chuck it when it worked fine before this and cost £70.
