The soap flap on our dishwasher has stopped opening automatically. We now add the tablet manually 15m into the cycle, any ideas on what to try first anyone? before I start ordering parts.

The flap on my diplomat washer hasnt worked for 3 years we just chuck the tablet in the bottom and everything seems to get clean

thanks guys, I guess I'll continue chucking the tablet in the bottom untill I find time to get my meter out!
