New to site.Moved into new (smaller) house a year ago with attached garage. It is essentially a utility room housing dryer, freezer etc and a storage room for the stuff we used to put in the cellar and loft space(tools, bikes, books etc).Access is from kitchen. I am thinking of removing the garage door some time in the future and either bricking it up with a doorway or fitting a panel with a door on.Never going to use for cars so will I still have to treat the door as a fire door ? I have bought a new door to fit which is solid wood and is heavy. So I was just thinking of fitting fire rated hinges etc.Would this be ok ?

Thanks
