Does this look viable?

Hi guys,

I've never fitted a roof window before, but I'm hoping to fit two new 55x78cm Velux or Keylite windows opposite each other in our ground floor bathroom. I've just cleared the ceiling plasterboards to inspect the area above.

I've taken some photos and scribbled on them to try to illustrate what it is i'm trying to achieve. Please see below:
1. The plan (left side): http://tinyurl.com/paokg89 (right side is identical)
2. Wide-angle, looking up from the floor http://tinyurl.com/pr5kngs
3. Outside view http://tinyurl.com/ppbntdz
4. What i'm aiming for http://tinyurl.com/o94mt3l

Here's what I'm hoping someone might be able to help with:

1. Is moving the joists a bad/good idea? (see pic 1 & 2). I was hoping to move A to 1, and B to 3, but i'm not sure if it'll compromise the structure too much, maybe I could reinforce it somewhere else to compensate?

2. Are the windows too big for the roof? (notice how the top corner is quite close to the hip). I could move the windows nearer the main wall of the house, but this would mean cutting two rafters, and installing 4 more (doubling up on either side of the window).

Anyway, just wanted to get some other opinions really, any help would be massively appreciated!

Many thanks
