double spigot waste drainage

Hi there,

Currently, my washing machine water drains into an ordinary, straightforward upstand.

I want to drain a condenser tumble dryer into that same pipe. I've seen 'double spigot' parts but can't quite see how to fix this to the upstand pipe.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just a compression fitting, should be easy enough.

Thank you. I thought it might be as you say but I wanted to be sure. Not being a plumber, it's too easy to think you know what you're doing and then find you don't!
