I have built a 2 course single width wall on top of an existing concrete plinth. I intend to lap DPM over this and raise inside area floor with about 75mm of concrete (to existing flooring). Then put DPC on top of wall before screwing down a timber frame (treated) to make a cladded wall. Do I need to bed the DPC in with mortar above or below DPC or not at all?

Just make sure to fill in any frogs and joints so that the top of the course is smooth.

If there are bricks sticking up then yes, put a layer of mortar to smooth it out

Many thanks top is level so will just lay membrane over and DPC before screwing down timbe then.
