Drayton RF1+SCR

My brother is currently having problems with his drayton thermostat, green light on receiver however boiler not firing. fires for dhw so obviously either wiring or receiver problem. What is the best way to test the wiring? is it best to just link the 1 and 3 switch live wires and see if the boiler fires? any help would be much appreciated.

I'd try new batteries first.

sounds like reciever or synchrone motor on zone valve,but will not advice u on doing live checks.

Try manual override on receiver; if that works stick new batteries in and rebond if it does not solve the problem.
