Drayton Tempus 3 problem

Can anyone help. I have a drayton 3 timer and it keeps switching itself on and off rapidly. Looking at the display when the heating is on, the 'on/off' icon goes out and comes back on almost immediately. It doesn't appear to affect the heating itself.

This only occurs on the heating side of the display. The water side appears to be fine.

Seven years later and my timer is now doing exactly the same. Did you get yours fixed?
