Hi - I have ordered some replacement doors for some fitted wardrobes.

They didn't come pre-drilled for the handles. I drilled one yesterday and vinyl wrapping was shot to pieces on the other side of the hole. It's not a disaster as it's on the inside of door but obviously it's still visible when you open the door.

Can anyone think of a way of preventing this?

Admittedly the drill bit has seen better days so I may try with the brand new bit.

Thanks

Start with drilling a smaller hole, then drill your correct sized hole from the front but don't drill all the way through, then do the same from the back.

Hold a block of wood securely against the back of the door
while drilling
It stops the blowout

Where you have already had a blow-out, I would use a repair washer to hide the damage.
