Hello,
I am fitting a new bath with taps on the side, but having unwrapped it ,there are no holes for the mixer tap.
What is the best way to cut holes in the bath without damaging it !
Thanks in anticipation Steve.

That would depend on the material used that the bath is made of, plastic no problem. Metal with ceramic coating a more awkward job that requires more specialised tools fella...

If plastic - a few layers of masking tape then
preferably with a slowish drill

I would get a couple of pieces of plywood, mark one piece with the hole centres for the taps, put the two pieces of ply together and drill 3mm pilot holes. Next drill the correct size holes for the taps in one piece of ply and try the taps, if they fit, you can then use the other piece of ply as a template to drill the pilot holes in the bath (the masking tape is still a good idea).

Nick.
