Hello,

I have a Grohe shower mixer tap which has been dripping from the shower head for some time. I think I have an earlier version of a Grohe Grohtherm 2000 http://www.plumb-warehouse.co.uk/ishop/968/shopscr771.html It's a slightly less fancy design but otherwise it's the same.

Can anyone offer me advice on how to replace the washer / cartridge please? I have a screw over the flow control on the left-hand side which despite my best efforts cannot be turned. Do I need to turn this or remove one of the taps to stop the dripping?

Thanks,
James

Contact Grohe http://www.grohe.co.uk/en/support/p/25_1101.html

They will send you instructions on how to dismantle, and can supply the parts you need.

You have done the right thing in investing in a high quality fitting. Unfortunately, even a quality brand's product can fail after a while. The good thing is that Grohe parts are available, and will be available for years to come.
